Overview
The double deck highway tunnel beneath downtown Seattle that replaced the earthquake damaged Alaskan Way Viaduct. It was bored by Bertha, at about 17.5 m one of the largest diameter tunnel boring machines ever built, whose breakdown in 2013 delayed the project by around two years.
