Overview
The super sewer under the River Thames from Acton to Abbey Mills, built to stop the tens of millions of tonnes of sewage that overflowed into the river each year from the Victorian system of Joseph Bazalgette. It connects to the Lee Tunnel and was fully commissioned in 2025.
