Overview
The first of the Swiss NRLA base tunnels, running deep under the old Lotschberg line between Frutigen and Raron. One full double track bore and two thirds of a second single track bore were completed, the rest left as shell for future demand. Cut Bern to Brig timings by roughly 15 minutes.
