Overview
A rack railway from Kleine Scheidegg that spends most of its route in a tunnel bored through the Eiger and Monch, with stations cut into the rock face. After 16 years of construction it reached the Jungfraujoch in 1912, at 3,454 m the highest railway station in Europe.
